When you first discover that you have hair, it’s as if it’s a massive, strange appendage attached to a creature’s skull that is completely different in size and shape from it, and if we take a slightly more careful look, it’s actually actually your brain. It’s the brain of a cat, essentially.

And now you’re not alone. And there is something like 3 billion cats on earth — that is more than 10,000 times larger than you.

So there’s the first rule. There’s also the second rule. Cats are actually sentient cats.

And those are two of the biggest facts we can come up with for you…but let’s ignore the third. And that’s it. Because the most important truth is that this is just your brain. It’s your body. And while your brain can and certainly will break all of the laws of nature, in the grand scheme of human existence, its abilities don’t look that impressive.

And even though cats’ brains are about 10,000 times bigger than yours, just a glimpse at it makes your head spin. It seems ridiculously large at 3 inches long, a little more and you can almost hear yourself think.
