Brand Twitter has taken over, and they demand Bunburgers.

The rise of Bunburger is proof of a cuisine in crisis

Yesterday, at some point, brands and parody accounts on twitter joined forces and started demanding for McDonald’s to make a patty-less burger, that replaces the meat for another bun

When we reached out to an alleged member of this group for an official statement, they told us: “Please support bunburger we need McBunMac to become a thing”

The group behind the Bunburger Movement calls itself “Social Media Illuminati” and it also supports the theory that Australia is fake, and they have some pretty strong arguments to go with it, like the fact that Google helps them fake people’s GPS location so it appears to show us where we think Australia is; but Australia is essentially a hole in the ground.

But we’re not here for Australia, so back to the buns.

Some of the most notable names that took part in this manifestation include our boys at Lawnchair, s8n, Steak-umm, and Checkers & Rally’s. Besides some serious confusion, this movement also gave place to a Bunburger Twitter account that gathered 250 followers in less than 24 hours and is presumably run by the previously mentioned accounts and many more.

But this event doesn’t limit to just Twitter. Some people took the time to go to McDonald’s and actually order a Bunburger.

Personally, i believe that 6,50 for a Big Mac is straight outrageous, doesn’t matter the currency.

We’ll be updating on the subject if something else pops up. Praise the bun.
